Duai Ijlas Held in Mumbai’s Hussaini Ashrafi Mosque for Palestinians

Mumbai, 21st March 2025:A special Duai Ijlas (prayer meeting) was organized at in the historic Hussaini Ashrafi Mosque in Worli, Mumbai, to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. The gathering witnessed participation from prominent Ulema-e-Kiram, Mashaikh-e-Izam, social workers, and members of the general public.

The prayer meeting was presided over by renowned Islamic scholar Hazrat Allama Syed Moinuddin Ashrafi, also known as Moin Mian. Several notable figures, including Alhaj Mohammad Saeed Noori, General Secretary of the Islamic organization Raza Academy, were present at the event. The attendees condemned the ongoing oppression in Palestine and offered prayers for unity and harmony within the Muslim community.

In his address, Hazrat Allama Syed Moinuddin Ashrafi emphasized the religious and moral duty of Muslims to support the Palestinian cause. “It is our responsibility to protect Baitul Muqaddas and Masjid-e-Aqsa,” he stated, calling on the Islamic world to set aside differences and unite for Palestine.

Alhaj Mohammad Saeed Noori highlighted the need for both prayers and practical action. He urged Islamic countries to raise the issue of Palestine more strongly on international platforms and adopt a collective strategy against Israeli actions.

The gathering concluded with prayers for the end of violence in Palestine and a resolution to raise awareness about the Palestinian cause. Attendees pledged to strengthen unity and brotherhood within the Muslim community while advocating for Palestinian rights on global platforms.
