Mumbai: Model Dies In Hit-And-Run Incident In Bandra, Friend Injured
Mumbai, 7th December 2024: A 25-year-old model tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run incident in Bandra West on Thursday while riding pillion on a friend’s motorcycle. Her friend sustained a leg fracture. According to Bandra Police, a water tanker collided head-on with the motorcycle, and the driver fled the scene.
The deceased, Shivani Singh, from Malad, was travelling with her friend when the incident occurred near Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road around 8 pm. Singh was thrown off the bike and run over by the tanker, sustaining fatal injuries. She was rushed to Bhabha Hospital, where she was declared dead. Her friend, who wore a helmet, was treated for a leg fracture. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to track down the driver.
