Mumbai Railway Reservation System to Remain Shut for Three Hours on September 5-6

Mumbai, 4th September 2026: Passenger Reservation System (PRS) services in Mumbai will remain unavailable for three hours from 11:45 pm on September 5 to 2:45 am on September 6 due to system parameter tuning.

During the shutdown, several passenger reservation and related services will be unavailable, including PRS services, coaching refund services, IVRS, current reservation, chart display, touch-screen facilities, refund counters and coaching refund terminals.

Internet booking for trains handled through Mumbai PRS will also remain unavailable during the maintenance window.

Passengers requiring a refund during the shutdown period can obtain a Ticket Deposit Receipt (TDR), with refunds processed according to the applicable railway refund rules.

The temporary shutdown is scheduled to facilitate system parameter tuning and maintenance work. Passengers have been advised to plan their reservation and related transactions accordingly.
