Navi Mumbai: Mumbai-Pune Express To Be Closed, Traffic To Be Diverted From Kalamboli
Navi Mumbai, 12th February 2023: As the nameplate of Yashwantrao Chavan Marg will be installed on the permanently busy Mumbai-Pune express route near Kalamboli on Sunday, the traffic going to Pune from Kalamboli will be diverted, according to Kalamboli traffic branch officer, V N Vishwakar.
A nameplate will be installed on the Mumbai-Pune express highway. Therefore, the traffic towards Pune will come from Kalamboli Gate No. 5 from Devansh Hotel, Steel Market and again on the highway towards Pune. This distance is going to be 500 meters, so there will be no traffic congestion as the motorists will be able to get back on the expressway in a short time.
This work will start anytime after noon. However, the transport department has taken precautions so that there will be no traffic jams. This work is likely to take two hours. However, the route to Pune will not be closed completely; only traffic will be diverted. Therefore, citizens and motorists have been requested to cooperate properly through the Navi Mumbai Traffic Department.
