Recruit Teachers By Diwali: Parents’ Ultimatum To Education Department

Navi Mumbai, 18th October 2022: In the CBSE school of Koparkhairane of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, the number of teachers and faculty is low, and the students are suffering academically. The half-term exams are also in the final stage, and teachers are still not available. Therefore, the parents of the students have met the education officer and commissioner and have asked them to recruit teachers by Diwali, otherwise, a strong protest will be launched in front of the municipal headquarters. The parents have given such an ultimatum to the education department.

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has become the first Municipal Corporation in the state to start a Municipal Corporation CBSE School. This school has been running in Nerul and Koparkhairane for the past five years. Day by day, the response of students to this school is increasing, and the number of students is increasing. The school in Nerul has enough teachers compared to students. However, in school number 94 of Koparkhairane, the students’ educational situation is going on without teachers.

As a rule, a class of 30-40 students should have one teacher. At least 30 teachers are mandatory for 1,250 students. But currently, 1,250 students are supported by only 10 teachers. Therefore, there is a wave of anger among the parents who have been waiting for teachers for the last six months.
