Salman Khan Files Civil Suit Against His Panvel Farmhouse Neighbor
Mumbai, 18th January 2022: Actor Salman Khan has filed a defamation suit before the Mumbai City Civil Court against his Panvel Farmhouse neighbor.
The case is filed against Ketan Kakkad, a Non-Resident of India (NRI), for making insulting comments against Salman and his family over a land sale transaction on his YouTube channel.
An application for interim relief and an application for seeking blocking/ suspending/withdrawing the social media accounts of the defendants where the derogatory content was shared is also filed by the actor.
The Mumbai court on Friday refused to pass any interim order in favor of Salman Khan. The court will hear the defamation suit on January 21.
“We have received the papers last evening and have been able to go through the entire suit,” said Kakkad’s advocate Advocate Abha Singh and Aditya Pratap.
