Amidst his quest for travel options on April 25, he stumbled upon a connecting flight package priced at an astonishing ₹ 19,000. Struck by disbelief, he promptly took to social media, sharing screenshots of this remarkable find. The post quickly gained traction, drawing incredulous reactions from numerous users on the platform.
“Washington to Mumbai flight for ₹ 19,000,” exclaimed Phalgun in his post on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by screenshots. He further added, “How is this possible? Went to the payment page. Includes regular two check-in baggage too!”
The shared screenshots showcased economy tickets for the Washington to Mumbai route from various travel agencies, with FlightNetwork offering the lowest fare at ₹ 18,770. Additionally, tickets were available for as low as ₹ 19,332 on GotoGate and ₹ 19,815 on Cleartrip.
The route of the connecting flight from Washington to Mumbai was also outlined, indicating a journey commencing from Washington Dulles, with a stopover in Jeddah before reaching Mumbai.
