Thane Bus Accident: Eight People Injured After Crash into Metro Pillar
Thane, 10th September 2024: Eight people were seriously injured early Tuesday morning when a state transport bus crashed into a pillar at a metro rail construction site in Thane. The accident occurred around 5:30 am near Ovla village on Ghodbunder Road. The bus, en route from Ambejogai to Borivali, swerved to avoid a collision with an oncoming container truck, leading it to hit the pillar.
Among the injured are the bus driver and conductor. All eight victims were taken to various hospitals for treatment. The front of the bus was significantly damaged in the crash. The traffic and local police are currently investigating the incident.
