Thane: Seven Burglars Steal Watches Worth Rs 23 Lakh in Badlapur East Heist

Thane, 20th July 2024: On Wednesday, seven burglars executed a heist at the Rajesh Watch Showroom in Badlapur East, making off with over 300 high-value watches totalling Rs 23 lakh. The thieves managed to break into the showroom by forcefully tampering with the shutter.

Rajesh Chawala, the showroom’s owner, was alerted to the burglary in the morning. Upon arrival, he found the shutter damaged and reviewed the CCTV footage, which captured the entire incident. The footage revealed that the burglars used a blanket to hide their actions while they broke the shutter lock and gained entry. They swiftly filled a bag with watches and departed within 40 minutes, ensuring to close the shutter behind them.
