Thane: Two Arrested In Connection With Gun Sale

Thane, 23rd March 2023: Akash Shirasath (26) and Govind Jadhav (23), who came to sell guns east of Thane railway station, were arrested by the asset search cell of Thane Crime Branch. Police recovered two country-made guns and eight live cartridges from them.

The Asset Detection Cell received information that a man was coming to sell arms east of Thane railway station. Based on this information, a police team arrested Akash Shirasath from Kopri. Police recovered two guns from him. Eight live cartridges were also found with him. His investigation revealed that he was going to sell this gun to Govind Jadhav. After that, the police also arrested him.
