Woman Arrested For Obstructing Government Work By Abusing Traffic Constable

Mumbai, 24th November 2022: Dindoshi police arrested a woman who abused the traffic police who took action in the case of riding a two-wheeler without a helmet. The name of this woman is Bismillah Rehmanullah Shaikh, and she is currently in police custody, the police informed.

 

Pramod Janardhan Shivkar, a resident of Bhayander, works as a police constable at Dindoshi Traffic Police Outpost. He was on duty near Oberoi bridge on the Goregaon-Mulund junction road on Monday at 3 pm. Around 6.15 pm, he noticed a woman riding a bike without a helmet breaking the signal. So Shivkar took action against her. At this time, the woman objected to him taking a picture of the bike and started arguing with him. She left after verbally abusing him.

 

After some time, the woman again came there from the opposite direction and started arguing with Pramod Shivkar again. She also tried to argue with him by abusing him. Shivkar informed the traffic control room about this and asked for the help of the female employee. After some time, a lady officer came there. By that time, the woman had left. He later narrated this incident to his in-charge, Police Inspector Mukund Pawar. After his order, he filed a complaint against the woman at Dindoshi Police Station.

 

After that, the police registered a case against the concerned woman for abusing the police and obstructing government work. As soon as the case was registered, the police arrested the woman. She is currently in police custody.
