Mumbai Link in CBI’s Human Trafficking Crackdown: Raids Conducted in the City as Part of Nationwide Operation

Mumbai, 8th March 2024: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully dismantled a significant human trafficking network operating nationwide, preying on unsuspecting youths with enticing promises of lucrative overseas jobs. This organized network exploited social media platforms, including YouTube, and local contacts to lure Indian nationals, offering highly paid positions in Russia.
The victims, once ensnared, were coerced into combat training and involuntarily deployed to front bases in the Russia-Ukraine War Zone, endangering their lives against their will. Shockingly, some of the trafficked individuals sustained severe injuries in the war zone.
The CBI has initiated legal proceedings against several entities, including M/s 24×7 RAS Overseas Foundation in New Delhi, its Director Suyash Mukut, M/s O.S.D Bros Travels & Visa Services Pvt Ltd. in Mumbai, its Director Rakesh Pandey, M/s Adventure Visa Services Pvt Ltd. in Chandigarh, Punjab, its Director Manjeet Singh, and Baba Vlogs Overseas Recruitment Solutions Pvt Ltd. in Dubai, its Director Faisal Abdul Mutalib Khan, also known as Baba.
On March 6, 2024, the CBI officially registered a case of human trafficking against these private Visa Consultancy Firms, agents, and others involved in trafficking Indian nationals under the guise of offering better employment and high-paying jobs in Russia. The network of these agents spans multiple states across the country.
To address this criminal operation, the CBI is currently executing searches at approximately 13 locations in Delhi, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Ambala, Chandigarh, Madurai, and Chennai. The ongoing raids have resulted in the seizure of cash exceeding Rs. 50 lakhs, incriminating documents, and electronic records, including laptops, mobiles, desktops, and CCTV footage. The investigative efforts aim to dismantle this intricate human trafficking network and bring the perpetrators to justice.
