Mumbai, 20th September 2024: The highly anticipated release of Apple’s iPhone 16 series began today, September 20, with enthusiastic customers queuing outside Apple Stores in Delhi and Mumbai. Large crowds formed outside Apple Saket in Delhi and Apple BKC in Mumbai as buyers eagerly awaited the latest iPhone models.
In Delhi, the Apple Saket store saw a significant turnout, with many customers arriving early to be among the first to purchase the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, or iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The scene in Mumbai’s Apple BKC store was even more intense, as a massive crowd gathered, with reports of some fans waiting overnight to secure their spot at the front of the line. As the doors opened, both stores began the sale with Apple’s signature countdown.
The iPhone 16 series offers four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Pro models feature larger screens, enhanced performance, and upgraded cameras. However, Apple Intelligence features will not be pre-installed on the devices.
The iPhone 16 series is now available across India through Apple’s online store, physical retail locations, and authorized resellers. Customers who couldn’t attend the launch in person can still purchase the new iPhones online or through various outlets.

No-cost EMI plans are available for up to 24 months through certain banks.
