Mumbai Records 18.5°C, Second-Coldest November Temperature in Seven Years
Mumbai, 22nd November 2024: Mumbai experienced a minimum temperature of 18.5°C on Wednesday, marking the second-lowest November temperature in seven years. The lowest November reading was 17°C, recorded in 2022.
On Thursday, the IMD’s Santacruz observatory also logged a minimum of 18.5°C, while the Colaba observatory reported 23°C. Maximum temperatures reached 32.9°C at Santacruz and 33.6°C at Colaba.
According to the IMD’s Friday forecast, the city is expected to have mostly clear skies, with temperatures ranging between 19°C and 34°C. Weather enthusiast Abhijit Modak noted that seasonal trends typically cause minimum temperatures to decline after mid-November due to clear skies and calm, dry conditions.
