Mumbai: Chinchpokli Chintamani Aagman on 29th August With Tirupati-Inspired Theme

Mumbai, 26th August 2026: With Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 approaching, preparations for the city’s grand Ganeshotsav celebrations are in full swing. Among the most-awaited events is the arrival (aagman) of the revered Chinchpokli Chintamani, which is scheduled to take place on August 29.

This year, the Chinchpokli Chintamani idol will be presented in a spectacular Tirupati Balaji-inspired design. The approximately 24-foot-tall idol will be seated on an elaborately designed singhasan (throne), giving the idol a majestic appearance.

The unique theme has been carefully planned as part of this year’s Ganeshotsav celebrations. Artists involved in creating the idol and the accompanying setup have been working to bring the Tirupati-inspired concept to life ahead of the aagman ceremony.

Chinchpokli Chintamani is among Mumbai’s most prominent and widely followed Ganpati idols, with devotees gathering in large numbers every year to witness its arrival. The annual aagman has become an important part of Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav celebrations.

With the grand idol, traditional symbolism and Tirupati-inspired presentation, this year’s Chinchpokli Chintamani aagman is expected to be one of the key attractions of Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 in Mumbai.
