Mumbai: Block on Harbor And Central Way On Sunday; Local Services Between Matunga And Mulund On Fast Line To Be Diverted On Slow Line

Mumbai, 14th April 2023: A block will be taken on Sunday (16th April) for maintenance and repair of the railway track, overhead wire, and signal system on the Central and Harbor lines. Local services between Matunga and Mulund on the fast line will be diverted to the slow line during the block. Special services will run between Panvel to Kurla at approximately 20-minute intervals during the block period. There will be no block on Western Railway this coming Sunday.

Down express services departing from CSMT from 10.25 am to 3.35 pm will be diverted to a down express line between Matunga and Mulund stations. Next to Thane, these express local downs will be diverted to the express line. From Thane, from 10.50 am to 3.46 pm Up Fast Line services will be diverted to Up Slow Line between Mulund and Matunga. After Matunga, the ups will be re-routed to the expressway.

CSMT to Chunabhatti/Bandra up and down on the Harbor route, CSMT/Wadala road to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel up and down, and CSMT to Bandra/Goregaon up and down local services will remain closed. During the block period, passengers on the Harbor route are allowed to travel on the Main and Western Railways from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
