Mumbai: Molestation Of Minor Girl Leads To Arrest Of Security Guard In Malad

Malad, 4th October 2023: A security guard of an elite building in Malad was confined by the police for molesting a minor girl. The police registered a complaint in this case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Abuse Act (POCSO) on the complaint of the family members of the girl and incarcerated the accused from the residential building in Malad.

This startling incident happened on Monday, October 2, when the minor girl was playing with her friends on the residential building’s premises. At that time, she asked the nearby guard about the location of the lavatory, as she needed to use it. As the women’s toilet in the building was temporarily closed for some reason, the accused security guard asked the victim girl to use the men’s toilet.

At that time, the accused guard unjustly took the girl to the massage room and molested her on the pretext of giving her water. The victim girl told her family about the whole ordeal. Accordingly, the family immediately lodged a formal complaint with the Malad police in this matter. The police registered a case under the molestation and POCSO Acts and arrested the accused security guard.

Police are further investigating the matter.
