From Tent Life to Bandra Luxury: Yashasvi Jaiswal’s New Rs 5.4 Crore Mumbai Home
Mumbai, 22nd February 2024: Young cricket sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal, who once lived in a tent at Azad Maidan in Mumbai as a child, has recently acquired a flat in Mumbai’s Bandra area for approximately Rs 5.4 crore. The 1,100 sq ft flat, located in wing 3 of the Bandra (East) building, was officially registered on Jan 7, with a per sq ft cost of Rs 48,499.
During his childhood in Mumbai, Yashasvi Jaiswal, now 22, experienced a modest upbringing, residing in a tent at Azad Maidan. His parents left for their village in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, as Yashaswi pursued his cricketing dreams. It was during this period that his childhood coach recognized his potential and took him under his wing. In a testament to his determination, Jaiswal also contributed by assisting a hawker in selling pani puri at Azad Maidan, showcasing his commitment to his passion for cricket.
In a recent cricket achievement, the left-handed opener, Jaiswal, scored a double century with a record-breaking 12 sixes in India’s dominating 434-run victory over England in the third Test at Rajkot. His success extends to the U-19 World Cup in 2020, an IPL bid of Rs 2.4 crore, and an impressive performance with 625 runs in 14 matches for Rajasthan Royals in 2023.
