Emergency Unfolds as Fire Sweeps Through Azad Nagar in Mumbai’s Bhayander East
Bhayander, 28th February 2024: A significant fire broke out early on Wednesday in the densely populated slum area of Bhayander East in Mumbai.
The incident originated in a godown situated in the Azad Nagar region of Bhayander East and rapidly spread through the narrow alleys, affecting makeshift homes and structures.
Mira Road Fire Brigade has deployed 10 fire tenders to address the escalating flames in the slum. As of now, the cause of the fire in Azad Nagar is yet to be determined.
