Disha Salian Case: Hearing Rescheduled Before Correct Mumbai High Court Bench

Mumbai, 2nd April 2025: Bombay High Court proceedings in the Disha Salian death case took an unexpected turn today after the petition filed by her father, Satish Salian, was mistakenly listed before a bench not designated to hear cases involving crimes against women. Advocate Nilesh Ojha, representing Satish Salian, clarified that the matter should be heard by Justice Sarang Kotwal’s bench, not Justice Dere and Justice Revati Mohite’s bench. Following this correction, the court permitted the case to be re-listed before the appropriate bench. The next hearing date is yet to be determined.
Satish Salian has sought a fresh investigation into his daughter’s death, alleging that it was not suicide but murder. His petition implicates several prominent individuals, including Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea and Suraj Pancholi, and accuses them of involvement in a conspiracy surrounding Disha’s death. Advocate Ojha has also claimed that former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh played a key role in covering up the case.
