Get Ready For Janhvi Kapoor’s Intense Transformation As An IFS Officer In Ulajh

Mumbai,19th June 2023: Janhvi Kapoor, known for her strong portrayals of women in films like Gunjan Saxena, Good Luck Jerry, and Mili, is embarking on a new venture as she takes on the role of an IFS Officer in the movie Ulajh. Recently, the actress announced her next project alongside Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah. The film, produced by Junglee Pictures, will be directed by Sudhanshu Saria, a National award-winner. This patriotic thriller has commenced filming in London.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Janhvi Kapoor shared a photo of herself standing next to a clapboard, captioned with “#Ulajh.” Expressing her excitement about the project, she stated, “When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, I was instantly drawn to it. As an actor, I am always seeking scripts that push me beyond my comfort zone, and portraying a character in the esteemed world of the Indian Foreign Services does exactly that. The film, just like its title suggests, presents multiple layers, emotions, and challenges that are both thrilling and captivating. I am eagerly anticipating the audience’s response to this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who brings a fresh perspective to this genre. It is also my first time working with such talented co-actors and a reputable production house like Junglee Pictures.”

Gulshan Devaiah, an integral part of the film, is presently in London for the shooting schedule and has been enthusiastically capturing and sharing his captivating experiences in the heart of the British capital.
