Kamats Restaurants Takes Legal Action Against Unauthorized Use of Brand Name
Mumbai, 2nd April 2024: Kamats Restaurants has initiated legal action against the unauthorized use of its brand name in Dapoli, opposite the bus stand. The company discovered this unauthorized activity after receiving several complaints from concerned customers. Upon conducting a thorough investigation, including reviewing photographic evidence, it was evident that a restaurant operating under the Kamats name in Dapoli had no affiliation with the genuine Kamats Restaurants chain.
In response, Kamats Restaurants promptly issued a legal notice to the unauthorized establishment and pursued the matter through legal channels. As a result, the court ordered the immediate closure of the counterfeit establishment. It instructed the local police to dismantle the operation and confiscate all materials associated with the unauthorized use of the Kamats brand name.
