In a remarkable development, the Matheran Toy Train has experienced a significant increase in passenger numbers and revenue during the period from March to May 2023. Operating the Aman Lodge to Matheran Shuttle Service, the iconic train served a staggering 131,481 passengers, marking a remarkable 16.97% surge when compared to the corresponding period last year, which saw 112,401 travelers.

The surge in passenger numbers has translated into substantial financial gains as well. The total revenue generated during this period amounted to an impressive INR 10,128,424. This represents a remarkable 39.98% surge in revenue when juxtaposed with the earnings of INR 7,287,680 recorded during the same period from March 2022 to May 2022.
