Mumbai: 16-Year-Old Student Died By Suicide After Being Caught Copying

Chembur, 12th April 2023: A 16-year-old student died by suicide in the Chembur area after she was caught copying by her teachers during the examination. The girl was taken to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar and the doctors declared her dead. Chembur police have registered a case of accidental death in this regard.
A 16-year-old girl was living with her family in the Indira Nagar area of Chembur Camp. She was studying in class 9. The girl’s exam was going on and her teacher found a copy with the girl on Tuesday (11th April) while the exam was going on. The teacher called the girl’s mother to the school and told her about the same. Depressed by the said incident, the girl died by suicide by hanging herself at her residence.
After that, she was immediately taken to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar. Doctors there declared her dead. The Chembur police registered a case of accidental death after taking preliminary information.
