Mumbai: Alleged Suicide Attempt At Bandra-Worli Sea-Link; Search Operation Continues
Mumbai, 31st July 2023: In a shocking incident today, a person allegedly attempted suicide by jumping into the Sea from the Bandra-Worli sea link. The Mumbai Police, Indian Navy, and Coast Guard have initiated a joint search operation after receiving information about the incident. The ANI has given a report in this regard.
Stopping vehicles at the Bandra-Worli sea link has been banned. Hence, traffic is continuously moving at a high speed on this bridge. Despite this situation, suddenly a person stopped his car on Bandra Worli C Link this morning. He got out of his car and jumped straight into the sea.
Upon receiving information about this incident, swift action was taken by the Mumbai Police, which deployed the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and helicopters to aid in the search and rescue efforts. As of now, the identity of the person who attempted suicide remains unknown. Law enforcement officials are working to establish the individual’s name and ascertain the possible motives behind the attempted suicide.
