Mumbai: Deputy CM Fadnavis States That Mumbai Has Unaffordable Infrastructure, Leads To Technological Disadvantage

Mumbai, 2nd March 2023: Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, claimed on Thursday that Mumbai’s technological disadvantage against Bengaluru was caused by the financial capital’s “unaffordable” infrastructure. “The state is intensifying its focus on the infrastructure front,” Fadnavis stated.

Businesses left Mumbai because it was “unaffordable,” according to Fadnavis, and moved to Bangalore and Hyderabad. The state, according to the BJP leader, is now building high-quality infrastructure, such as the Trans Harbour marine link and a network of metro railroads, which will encourage the development of additional areas and lower rents.
