Mumbai: Elderly Person Dies In Devastating Accident Near Vikhroli
Vikhroli, 27th September 2023: In the recent attack that took place in the Ghatkopar area on Sunday, a 56-year-old elderly person was killed. In this case, Vikhroli police have registered a case against the unknown driver and started an investigation.
The deceased individual is identified as Jitendra Gupta and was a resident of the Malvani Chawl area of Ghatkopar. Gupta, who works at Godrej Company in Vikhroli, was ambulating to work on the Eastern Expressway on Sunday. On that day, when he was crossing the expressway, suddenly, a speeding vehicle hit him from the side, blowing him away in this collision.
Dreaded by the incident, the driver immediately skedaddled from the spot. Following the incident, nearby pedestrians quickly alerted Gupta’s son about the accident and rushed him to Rajawadi Hospital. However, unfortunately, Gupta did not survive the fatal injuries and was declared dead by doctors.
Meanwhile, Vikhroli Police have registered a complaint in this case against an unknown driver, and they have started an in-depth investigation.
