Mumbai: International Cocaine Smuggling Ring Busted; Arrests Made in Mumbai and Delhi

Mumbai, 14th November 2023: In a breakthrough, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has successfully dismantled an international cocaine smuggling ring with arrests made in both Mumbai and Delhi. The operation began with the arrest of an individual in Mumbai, leading to a subsequent revelation that the seized cocaine was intended for delivery in New Delhi.

Upon further questioning, the accused disclosed information that pointed to the involvement of a foreign woman named Rehema in the smuggling operation. A team from the NCB subsequently proceeded to Delhi, where Rehema was detained and interrogated, confirming her connection to the illicit activity.

Rehema has been arrested in connection with the case and was presented before a court in Delhi. It has been reported that she was brought to Mumbai on transit remand. The NCB is actively pursuing additional leads as part of its ongoing investigation, suspecting the involvement of an international gang in the cocaine smuggling operation.
