Mumbai Man Arrested for Raping and Torturing 12-Year-Old Girl in Mankhurd
Mumbai, 2nd April 2023: On Saturday, a 38-year-old man was arrested in Mankhurd for raping and torturing a 12-year-old girl who is specially abled. The accused lured the victim with grapes and food before taking her to his residence, where he molested her.
The victim’s mother filed a complaint with the Mankhurd police, who registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act and arrested the accused on Sunday.
The accused, a businessman with a shop, will be charged with rape, torture, and violation of the Indian Penal Code. The victim was medically examined at the hospital, and the police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
