Mumbai: Man Murdered By Four People When He Questions Them About Theft

Mumbai, 22nd February 2023: A 24-year-old youth, who went to ask for an answer for beating up his sister-in-law with a stolen bag, died after being beaten up by four people. The incident took place on Tuesday in the Darukhana area of Shivdi. Shivdi police have registered a case of murder, and four people have been arrested.
The names of the arrested accused are Mukhtar Mohinuddin Sheikh (23), Mohin Ghulamrasul Sheikh (62), Mainuddin Moled Khan (25) and Mehmud Mohiuddin Sheikh (28). The name of the deceased is Shettiba Vitthal Pawar (24). He lived in a slum opposite Sujata Hotel in the Darukhana area. On the complaint of Pawar’s mother, Phulabai (50), the Shivadi police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the IPC.
The accused beat up the deceased Shethiba Pawar’s sister-in-law with the intention of stealing. After Pawar came to know this information, he went to the accused on Tuesday to ask for an answer. Keeping his anger in mind, the accused abused and beat him up. At that time, Pawar fell due to severe injuries in his stomach and head. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. After receiving information about this, the police rushed to the spot and recorded the statement of Pawar’s mother, Phulabai. The police said that after registering a case, the accused were arrested.
