Mumbai: Pub Patron’s Rampage: Woman Sparks Chaos After Binge-Drinking Spree, Assaults Staff And Police
Andheri, 1st September 2023: Yesterday, a woman got into a drunken brawl with the pub staff and police along with her two friends in Mumbai’s Andheri West area. The inebriated woman beat up the pub staff and also attacked some policemen who tried to detain her. The police have arrested the woman along with her two friends in this case.
The incident happened yesterday, August 31, in the pub named ‘Lord of the Drinks’ which comes under Amboli Police Station. According to the pub staff, yesterday, the said lady came to the pub late at night along with her two friends. However, after a few beers about 2:00 a.m., the woman abruptly erupted and began beating up the pub personnel.
Employees immediately contacted the police and reported the event. Astonishingly, when the police car arrived at the pub, the woman and her two friends also heckled with ASI and the lady police constable.
After receiving this information, police inspector Mukund Yadav drove the beat marshal’s car to the pub. This woman also attacked and beat Mukund Yadav. Furthermore, the drunken lady did not stop there, and she bit the female officer who tried to arrest her.
The attack by the drunken woman injured ten people, including seven police officers and three pub employees. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The police have obtained CCTV footage from the ‘Lord of the Drinks’ pub. Furthermore, Amboli police have seized both of the woman’s cars and are investigating the matter further.
