Mumbai: To Squander Money At Dance Bar, Journalist Started Burglarizing Houses; Goods Worth Rs 20 Lakh Seized
Kalyan, 13th April 2023: A strange incident has taken place in the limits of the Khadakpada police station in the Kalyan area. A well-educated young man broke into as many as eight houses in the Kalyan area. The police have searched the accused with the help of CCTV cameras. About Rs 20 lakh worth of goods have been seized from the accused. The incident is being further investigated.
The name of the accused is Roshan Jadhav, a resident of Nilje village in Dombivli. The accused youth is highly educated and has studied journalism. He has also worked in a major English newspaper for a few years. The police investigation has revealed that the accused committed a total of eight crimes in the Kalyan area.
According to the information given by the police, the accused youth had a habit of squandering money in dance bars. To fulfil this desire, he started burglarizing houses in broad daylight. He recently burglarized a house in broad daylight in the Kalyan area.
After this incident came to light, Khadakpada police of Kalyan arrested the accused within 48 hours with the help of CCTV footage. The police have uncovered a total of eight crimes and seized Rs 20 lakh worth of valuables including 47 tola gold jewellery, a laptop, a mobile phone, and two watches.
