Mumbai: Tragic Accident On Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway; Three People Died While Two Injured
Mumbai, 7th September 2023: In a harrowing accident that took place on Wednesday, September 6, in the morning hours, a four-wheeler car speeding from Mumbai to Ahmadabad hit the divider. The accident was so severe that three people in this car died on the spot, while two others were greatly injured.
Yesterday, a speeding car bearing the number plate HR 20 AG 0226 was travelling from Mumbai to Ahmadabad. Unfortunately, the four-wheeler driver lost control of the vehicle near Mumbai Vahini Sativali Bridge, in front of Bajrang Dhaba, and it hit a Mumbai-bound truck, breaking the divider.
In this accident, three people lost their lives, while two others were seriously injured. As soon as the accident happened, the highway police immediately rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to the nearest hospital. The dead bodies were sent to the government hospital for an autopsy.
Police informed that the persons who died in this accident have not yet been identified; however, authorities are working tirelessly to identify the deceased.
Meanwhile, the traffic on the highway was at a complete standstill for nearly two hours after the accident. The police have successfully removed both the accident-stricken cars and made the traffic smooth.
