Mumbai: Violent Clash Over Food Parcel Claims Young Life in Chembur

Chembur, 9th October 2023: In Mumbai’s Chembur area, a 22-year-old youth was brutally killed by two people in a frivolous dispute over a food parcel. Chembur police have successfully arrested the accused in this case, and a murder case has been registered against them.

The deceased individual is identified as Anil Ranadive (22). He was a resident of Samrat Ashok Nagar in Chembur and was running a decoration business in the same area. His brother, Sunil Randive, registered a complaint regarding Anil’s murder, and accordingly, police are investigating the matter.

According to the complaint, yesterday, on October 8, Anil had gone to Sannidhi Bar at R.C. Road in Chembur to bring a food parcel. At that time, he had a verbal exchange with accused Hrithik Bajaj (23) and Harshad Valodra (27) over the paltry reason of who would get the parcel first. In this altercation, both the accused assaulted Anil, leaving him deadly injured.

Both the accused beat Anil with a stick and later hit him with an iron bracelet. After Anil fell down, the accused skidded from the spot. Immediately, Anil was admitted to Shatabdi Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead by doctors during treatment. The Chembur police immediately registered a case and arrested both accused.
