Navi Mumbai: 12th Standard Students Face Extreme Traffic Congestion In Uran On First Day Of Board Exam

Uran, 21st February 2023: Municipal council has prepared a documentary for public awareness to solve the unruly traffic congestion in Uran city. However, during the examination of class 12 students on Tuesday, there was a rush of vehicles near the examination centre of St Mary’s School in Uran city; this affected the examinees. The conundrum extended from St Mary’s School to Jari Mari Mandir and Uran Mora Road.
This situation arose due to a lack of traffic planning in Uran city during the examination of the 12th class. Drivers and citizens are responsible for the traffic jam in Uran city and parking of vehicles on the road by parents coming to drop students at school and students bringing vehicles have also added to the problem. Traffic congestion in Uran city has always been a problem for motorists and citizens. To get rid of this dilemma, a documentary has been prepared on behalf of Uran Nagar Parishad for public awareness of the citizens.
However, there is a need for planning by the municipal council and the transport department to eliminate traffic congestion. Due to the conflicting attitude of both these departments, the problem of dilemma in Uran city continues. The dilemma hit on the very first day of the 12th examination. These exams will continue for the next month. Since the 10th class examination will start on 3rd March, citizens are demanding that the Uran City Council and the Transport Department plan the traffic in the city.
