Navi Mumbai: In Daylight Burglary, Thieves stole Cash And Jewellery Worth Rs 3.6 Lakh From Ganesh Apartment In Airoli
Airoli, 1st August 2023: In a shocking incident of broad daylight burglary, a residence at Ganesh Apartment in Airoli Sector-9D fell victim to a brazen theft. The incident came to light on the evening of July 28 when Lokesh Kumar Gupta, a resident of the apartment, returned home from work to find his house ransacked.
According to the information provided by the Rabale police, Lokesh Kumar Gupta and his wife had left for work after cautiously closing their house. Seizing the opportunity, unknown thieves managed to break the lock and enter the house. Inside, they laid their hands on a substantial sum of cash and an assortment of precious gold ornaments with a cumulative value of 3 lakh and 60 thousand rupees.
The thieves seemed to have entered the house by breaking the lock. The shocked residents immediately reported the incident to the Rabale police station against unknown persons. The police are now actively investigating the matter, and efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrators are underway.
