Navi Mumbai: Snakebite Incident Claims 21-Year-Old’s Life In Panvel
Panvel, 1st August 2023: In a disheartening incident, a 21-year-old youth named Aniket Kadam, a resident of the Chindran village in Panvel, lost his life after a venomous snakebite. The unfortunate incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Following the snakebite, Aniket’s condition rapidly deteriorated as the poison started spreading throughout his body. Concerned family members immediately rushed him to the nearby Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Sub-district Hospital in Panvel city. However, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, Aniket’s life could not be saved, and he passed away in the middle of the night.
The devastating news of the young man’s untimely demise has left the entire village in mourning. On Monday morning, Aniket’s body was cremated at the crematorium in Chindran village.
BJP office-bearer and former Zilla Parishad member Eknath Deshekar has demanded that the government should compensate Aniket’s family.
