Panvel Connect’ App Launched to Offer Citizens One-Click Civic Services

Navi Mumbai ,15th April 2025: Aiming to enhance transparency and convenience in public service delivery, the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Sunday launched its official civic services app, ‘Panvel Connect’, in the presence of MLA Prashant Thakur. The app was inaugurated during a public event held at D.B. Patil School.
Launched under the initiative of Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitale, the app offers residents of Panvel a digital platform to access a wide range of municipal services. From requesting civic amenities and reporting issues to paying taxes, utility bills, and receiving local news updates, all can be accessed on a single platform.
A standout feature of the app is the integration of a 24-hour disaster management system, with a strong focus on women’s safety. Emergency services like police assistance, fire brigade, and ambulance support can also be accessed directly through the app, enhancing the city’s responsiveness in crisis situations.
To further improve citizen engagement and information dissemination, digital signboards have been installed at City Centers . These boards will display real-time updates and raise awareness about government schemes and civic initiatives.
Speaking about the initiative, Municipal Commissioner Mangesh Chitale said, “Our aim is to ensure that civic services are just a click away for every resident. Through this app, we want to make governance more accessible, responsive, and transparent.”
With this launch, Panvel Municipal Corporation takes a significant step toward building a digitally empowered and citizen-focused smart city. The ‘Panvel Connect’ app is now available for download.
