Pune Airport’s New Terminal Expected To Be Inaugurated By PM Modi On 10th March

Pune, 6th March 2024: The new state-of-the-art terminal at Pune Airport, Lohgaon, is set to be inaugurated on March 10th. The inauguration will be conducted via video conferencing by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in-person by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Pune.
Expressing his admiration for the terminal, Sudhir Mehta, the Lead of Pune Platform For Collaborative Response, took to Twitter to share his excitement. Mehta, who personally visited the new facility, described it as “magnificent,” reflecting Pune’s unique blend of modernity, heritage, and culture. He eagerly anticipates the enhanced service and convenience that Punekars have been longing for.
The new terminal comes as a welcome relief for passengers who have found the current facilities inadequate to handle the high footfall. The inauguration ceremony will mark the beginning of a new era in air travel for Pune residents.
