The incident occurred on Monday (11th March) afternoon and seems to have originated from an ongoing dispute between the victim, identified as Pintu Gautam Das (28), a current resident of the construction site originally from West Bengal, and the accused, Ejaz ul Muhammad Hasib Alam, a native of Bihar.

Pintu’s brother, Chhotu Gautam Das (23), who works as a business labourer and resides in Wanowrie, filed a complaint at Sinhagad Road Police Station.
