RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ Nominated For Academy Awards For ‘Best Original Song’
Mumbai, 25th January 2023: The epic action film RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, created history as the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ was nominated for an Oscar in the ‘Best Original Song’ category in 2023.
The award comes after the movie won the Critics’ Choice Award for best foreign language film and the Golden Globe for best original song for the Telugu song “Naatu Naatu.”
MM Keeravani is the composer of ‘Naatu Naatu’. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava sing the song composed by Chandrabose.
It will be up against songs like “Applause” from “Tell It Like a Woman,” “Hold mY hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and “This Is A Life” from “Everything Everywhere All At Once.”
