Serial Pervert Exposed: 40-Year-Old Accused Molested Five More Women In Mumbai Local Train
Mumbai, 16th June 2023: Recently, a shocking incident of molestation shocked the city when a 20-year-old student was targeted by a 40-year-old man on a local train. However, new evidence from CCTV footage has now revealed that the accused, Nawazu Karim Sheikh, who misbehaved with this student, is a pervert.
The incident took place on Wednesday, June 14, around 7:30 in the morning when Nawazu Shaikh boarded a ladies’ coach on a local train departing from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). The victim, a young woman travelling alone towards Belapur, found herself in the presence of the perpetrator. During the journey between CSMT and Masjid Bandar, Shaikh molested the student.
Following that, the victim promptly lodged a complaint with the Railway Protection Force, leading to the subsequent registration of a case by the police.
As the investigation progressed, CCTV footage from the CSMT station on the same day brought to light Shaikh’s history of misconduct. The footage revealed that the accused had targeted five more women in a similar manner on the same day. Shockingly, despite Shaikh’s actions being captured on camera, no passerby intervened to stop him.
It is noteworthy that Shaikh engaged in these perverse acts by taking advantage of crowded spaces. Initially, it was believed that he was under the influence of alcohol, but the newly surfaced CCTV footage shows that he deliberately committed these acts with full awareness.
