Mumbai, 14th August 2022: Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (62), an Indian billionaire business magnate, stock trader and investor known as ‘Big Bull’ of the stock market, passed away at the age of 62. He breathed his last today in Mumbai. He was ill for a long time.
He was last seen in public at the inauguration of Akasa Air. He was ill for a long time.
Jhunjhunwala started investing in the stock market during his college days. Once Jhunjhunwala had said that initially, he had invested 100 dollars. The special thing is that then the Sensex index was at 150 points, which is now trading at the level of 60,000. He was also called the Warren Buffett of the Indian stock market.
According to Forbes, Jhunjhunwala’s net worth was 5.8 billion dollars. He also owned his stock trading company Rare Enterprises. Big Bull invested the most in stocks like Titan, Star Health, Tata Motors and Metro Brands.
