Shezaan Khan’s Petitions For Bail And Dismissing His FIRs To Be Heard By Bombay HC On January 30
Mumbai, 23rd January 2023: Sheezan Khan who has been arrested in the abetment to a suicide case of Tunsiha Sharma has petitioned the Bombay High Court for bail. He has also submitted a petition to have the FIR against him dismissed. The date of the hearing is January 30.
Sheezan’s bail request was earlier rejected by a Palghar court for failing to cooperate during a supervised questioning, deleting several WhatsApp conversations, and reportedly being in a position to intimidate important witnesses if freed on bail.
The judge had noted, “Sheezan was the final person to meet Tunisha before she passed away.” The Court stated, adding that the CCTV evidence proved Tunisha was last seen in Sheezan’s room, that after the two parted ways, Tunisha grew stressed and depressed.
The course notes that Shezaan’s bail petition has been withdrawn because his release at this time could have an impact on the case processes.
