Six Special Trains To Run Between Mumbai And Jainagar For Holi

Mumbai, 19th February 2023: The Railways has announced six special trains for Holi that will run between Mumbai and Jainagar. Indian Railways has decided to run six special trains between Mumbai and Jainagar to clear an extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival. Booking for these trains will start on 21st February.

The Holi Special train (05562) will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus every Monday from 13th March 2023 to 27th March 2023 at 1:30 PM and reach Jainagar at 08:00 AM on the third day. In addition, the Holi Special train (05561) will leave Jainagar every Saturday at 11:50 PM from 11th March 2023 to 25th March 2023 and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 1:00 PM the third day.

The halts of these Holi special trains are Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chhewki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Barauni, Samastipur and Darbhanga.

The Holi special train will have two AC-2 tiers, eight AC-3 tiers, six sleeper classes and five general second-class coaches, which include one guard brake van and one generator van.
