Thane: Case Registered Against Four Bogus Doctors In Bhiwandi

Thane, 18th February 2023: A case has been registered against four bogus doctors in the Narpoli area of Bhiwandi in the Narpoli police station on Friday. The case has been registered based on the complaint given by Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation Medical Officer Dr Jaywant Dhule. The accused have been identified as Harishankar Patel, Rudran Rai, Rajendra Prasad Patel and Radheshyam Chaudhary. No medical certificate was found by the police. A medical officer of Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation informed that bogus doctors are treating citizens by setting up businesses in the Narpoli area.

Dhule informed the Narpoli police about this incident. After that, when the medical team of Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation and Narpoli Police inspected Narpoli, Ektanagar, and Anjurphata areas, Harishankar Patel, Rudran Rai, Rajendra Prasad Patel and Radheshyam Chaudhary were found to be bogus doctors. When they were interrogated, no medical certificate was found. A case has been registered against them at Narpoli police station.

Bogus doctors were found in Bhiwandi earlier too. Therefore, it is coming to light that bogus doctors are running rampant in the city.
