Thane: Fire Breaks Out At Biodiversity Park, Several Bamboo Trees Damaged

Thane, 28th February 2023: A fire broke out in the biodiversity park set up by the district administration in the Saket Road area on Tuesday. Multiple bamboo trees were damaged in the fire. The exact cause of the fire is not known.

The Biodiversity Park is in front of the Rabodi Traffic Department Police Outpost at Saket Road. There are several in this park. Smoke started coming from the park around 1.30 pm on Tuesday. After Sub-Inspector More informed the municipal administration about this, the disaster management department of Thane Municipal Corporation, the fire brigade and the traffic police teams reached the spot. They bought the control under fire. Some bamboo trees have been damaged in this. It is not known if the fire was started or was because of natural causes.
