24 Hours and Counting: Pune Zoo’s Escaped Leopard Yet To Be Captured, Zoo Closed For Visitors

Katraj, 5th March 2024: The search for a leopard that escaped from the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park of Katraj in Pune yesterday morning remains underway. The leopard’s disappearance has prompted a coordinated effort by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Forest Department officials, Fire Authorities, and Rescue Teams to locate the elusive feline.
As the clock ticks, efforts to find the leopard persist, with teams searching the grounds of the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park of Katraj. The administration has provided preliminary information suggesting that the escaped leopard is believed to still be within the limits of the Zoological Park.
