Mumbai: First Look of Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani Unveiled Ahead of Grand Aagman Ceremony

Mumbai, 29th August 2026: With Ganeshotsav 2026 just around the corner, Mumbai is gearing up for the grand arrival of Lord Ganesha across several iconic public mandals. Adding to the festive excitement, the first glimpse of the famous Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani has been unveiled ahead of its much-awaited Aagman ceremony scheduled for Saturday.

The Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani Ganeshotsav Mandal shared the first look of Bappa with the caption, “Yandacha Thaat… Yandacha Roop… Yandacha Chintamani,” showcasing the idol’s attractive and captivating appearance.

Ganesh devotees are eagerly awaiting the arrival procession, which traditionally draws a large number of devotees and marks the beginning of celebrations for one of Mumbai’s most prominent Ganesh mandals.

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on September 14 this year, and preparations are in full swing across Mumbai and Maharashtra. Several public Ganesh mandals are organising idol arrival ceremonies in the run-up to the festival.

Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani holds a special place in Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav celebrations, with its annual Aagman Yatra attracting a massive gathering of devotees. This year’s procession is expected to add further colour and enthusiasm to the festive atmosphere in the city’s Girangaon belt.

As the first visuals of Chintamani surfaced, devotees took to social media to express their excitement, eagerly awaiting the grand arrival of Bappa and the commencement of Mumbai’s much-loved Ganeshotsav celebrations.
