Car Fire On Mumbai-Belapur Route Causes Intense Traffic Jam Near Uran Flyover, No Inury

Navi Mumbai, 14th July 2023: Today, on July 14, a car travelling from Mumbai to Belapur Pass flyover Burst into flames, resulting in a significant traffic jam. Immediately, the CBD fire brigade reached the scene and doused the fire, keeping the situation under control. Luckily, no one has died in this incident.

According to police, the incident occurred around 9 a.m. in the morning when the passenger car going towards Belapur from Mumbai experienced an engine failure, triggering the sudden outbreak of fire. The car, engulfed in flames, compelled the passengers to rush out of the car and immediately call the fire brigade. Quickly responding, the fire brigade team reached the spot and put out the fire.

The unfortunate incident caused major disruptions in the traffic flow beneath the flyover. Commuters heading out of Navi Mumbai from Uran Phata bus stop, as well as trucks en route to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), found themselves completely stranded due to the resulting congestion. Consequently, after the fire was extinguished, the traffic police team took the car off the road and restored traffic.
